Project Overview This project involved designing a complete digital platform for salon appointment booking, consisting of a mobile app for customers and a web dashboard for salon staff. The goal was to replace outdated, paper-based scheduling systems with a seamless digital experience that allows users to easily discover salons, explore services, and book appointments. Additionally, a central admin dashboard was developed to help the company manage salon accounts and app content efficiently. Project Goals -Digitize the salon appointment process to eliminate manual bookings. -Enable customers to find salons, view services, and schedule appointments via a user-friendly mobile app. -Provide salon staff with an intuitive web dashboard to manage appointments, services, and time slots. -Offer an admin panel to manage overall app content, monitor salon activity, and maintain platform consistency. Challenges -Many salons were used to offline, handwritten bookings and hesitant to move to a digital system. -Customers expected a fast, familiar mobile experience similar to food delivery or ride-hailing apps. -Managing complex time-slot availability and service durations for multiple salons was technically and visually challenging.
